upgrading RAM

guys,

i am a bit of a newb when it comes to this sort of thing, and OCUK support coudl not give a definitve answer:

i want to upgrade to 2gb RAM, my system is as below. i was thinking of getting the following:

Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 CAS3 184pin DDR Memory Dual Channel Kit

will it work with my motherboard? thanks

Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
OS Service Pack Service Pack 2

Motherboard:
CPU Type Intel Pentium 4, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)

Have a look on the Asus website, they should list RAM that is known as working with that mobo.

Yes it will work. You may have problems if you use it with your existing kit though.

sorry do you mean use it with my exisitng RAM? or something else?

i intend to get rid of my exisiting and go up to 2gb

Yep.

If you intend to get rid of your existing RAM then there shouldn't be any problem.
