I do a lot of video editing and I am in need of more RAM as 8GB isn't sufficient for my needs. I currently have Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB).
I'm not very experienced when it comes to RAM, CPU-Z shows 800.1mhz (this is multiplied by 2, right?) which means they're running at 1600mhz altogether(?)
I would like to upgrade to 24GB (are 2x 4GB sticks and 2x 8 GB sticks even compatible), or is this an overkill?
Would this be compatible with what I have?
