Looking to upgrade my system, this is what I have so far.

Already got a PSU and Optical drive sorted as well as an OS. Just looking at the hardware.

If there's better tech out there that's cheaper (Or can achieve the same results) then I'd love suggestions, cheaper the better.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 780Ti Gaming Edition 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £479.99
1 x Intel 4820K 3.70GHz (Ivybridge-E) Socket LGA2011 Processor - Retail (BX80633I74820K) £239.99
1 x Gigabyte X79-UD3 Intel X79 (Socket 2011) DDR3 Motherboard £145.99
1 x Kingston HyperX Genesis 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual/Quad Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3K4/16GX) £129.95
1 x Aerocool Mechatron Gaming Windowed Tower Case - Black £79.99
1 x Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU Cooler + Free Pure Wings 2 120mm Fan £65.99
1 x Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g) £8.99
Total : £1,160.48 (includes shipping : £8.00).

I should also specify that I'd like to stick with nVidia graphic cards, been using radeon graphic cards and didn't perform well to my liking and a majority of the games I play encorporate Nvidia PhysX systems

I'm not in a major hurry, more-so testing the waters to see what's the current tech to aim for. Been a few years since my last upgrade as I've been out of work since then, managed to aquire a job to pay for this so hopefully in the next few months I can fork out for a nice system.

I appreciate the advice and suggestions given so far, many thanks :D
