upgrading? side grading?? from 780 to 980

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 was thinking of geting this but for £100 it's an no brainer or I wll get them both. Will test. And let you guys and dolls know

My son will get this. He has my old 5850 2gb vapour x. He will be more than happy

I still think you'd much better off leaving your "upgrade" till the proper big Maxwell are out...unless you game online together with your son.

I think the two things that will decide that are when

1. 970 and 980 sales begin to drop

2. When memory chips are more plentyfull as full fat Maxwell will probably use more the the 970 and 980.

If NVidia follow their Kepler shedule we will see the Maxwell Titan first but this could still be a bit of a wait.
