Hi guys, I was wondering if someone could help me out with my next upgrade?

Basically atm I have got a pair of GTX280s and I am starting to get the upgrade itch, I have been tempted a couple of times to get a 6950 and flash it to a 6970, but I have never had much luck when it comes to ATi cards, so I am thinking that I should just stick with what I know (nVidia).

Also, whichever card I go for with be getting watercooled as well with a fullcover EK block and backplate.

I am planning on going for the GTX480 as the prices right now are extremely good, plus my dad just got a pair for his rig and they are very good cards, the only issues I could see with his cards was the overly noisy fans when they start kicking in, but with my one being watercooled this isn't going to be an issue.

Though I am still in two minds as to whether I should just splash out and get a GTX580 and waterblock/backplate for it instead.

Would it be worth my while getting the GTX580 or should I just go for the cheaper option and get the 480 instead?

(I posted a similar thread about this the other day, but it got removed for some reason???)

Thanks in advance

I swapped out my watercooled 280's for watercooled 480's and the difference is huge. I would say the 480 especially as they are getting cheaper all the time and under water there is no issue with the loud fan that they have
