I know this has probably been asked a few times now. But can't seem to find anything similar on past threads, so apologies in advance.

As above title, will just be for gaming. However what if on the off chance, after a couple of years games require more than 16Gb. Would it be wise to just purchase 32Gb now?

Thanks

16GB will be plenty for a good while yet. If you need 32GB later down the line, buy another 16GB at the time by which point one would hope it'll be far cheaper anyway.

me too!

however, dont think ive ever needed it. but if you do get 16, then make sure you use 2x 8 gb rather than 4 x 4 gb, for an easier upgrade later. (depending on how many channels you have)

Yeah good point. However its expensive, i'm not sure i need memory so fast. 3200 is more than enough for gaming i think?

Looks good. After googling it seems a lot of people use it with Ryzen. OCuK states compatibility with SkyLake and KabyLake but no Coffee Lake?

In the basket it goes :p

Il let you all know how i get on when its running.

EDIT: Silly question, correct me please but, will i be able to stick in another set of the same memory in couple of years time and still run in dual channel 32gb?
