Hi guys,

I am upgrading soon from my Fanless Q9550 / 1950XT to a i5/i7 not decided yet and HD7970 ( was looking at the models with 3x 92mm fans).

Keeping fanless PSU, hard drives 200mm case fans as they are pretty much silent in my setup.

Can any one comment on any nearly silent setups or recommend me any decent coolers for both cpu and gpu.

I have done watercooling before and don't really want to go down that route again, also don't mind if the noise gets a little louder when playing games etc.

Cheers

Come on guys :) surely some of you have the following coolers -

Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
Prolimatech Black Megahalems
NZXT Havik 140 CPU Cooler
Thermalright Silver Arrow
BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 2
Noctua NH-D14-201
Zero Infinity Free Flow+
Zero Infinity Phantom Knight

Can let me know how loud they are?
Thing is i am used to so little noise with my current setup i really want to get it right when i upgrade.

Any feedback appreciated guys.

on my 980 with PH-TC14PE & 2x TY-143 fans running Handbrake full tilt (90-100% CPU) I get 42-47c @ 900rpm :) Idle (2-10% CPU) 23-25c @ 660rpm Ambient is 21c
