I'm going to upgrade from the onboard Realtek HD audio on my motherboard to a separate sound card. However, what are the differences between the different X-Fi cards? I'm looking at the Xtreme Music and the Fatal1ty. I know that the Fatal1ty comes with the front i/o box and 64mb X-RAM, but what are the other differences? Also, what cable connects the i/o box to the card? Is it possible to get a smaller replacement as the standard one appears to be quite large. Sorry for all the questions, but sound cards really aren't my thing. Thanks in advance for your help.
