Hi all,

I am getting the urge to upgrade from my 1080p 144Hz monitor to something with 1440p (also at 144Hz), whilst it isn't out yet my attention has been drawn to the Acer Predator XG270HUomidpx 27"

Whilst I know that my 970 won't be able to work with freesync I should still be able to run at full resolution with maximum refresh rate, just without the refresh pacing stuff going on at lower fps?

After the whole 970 memory affair I'm probably going to be switching back to AMD for my next card anyway.

Also do 27" 1440p monitors typically have a noticeably higher pixel density than 24" 1080p monitors, to the point where people are using slightly lower AA settings as the jaggies are less obvious?

Further more are there any other monitors I should be looking at in the £400-£500 price bracket?
