Hi All,

Im planning on upgrading my memory next month to 4gb DDRs but am currently running Vista Prem 32bit, i it worth me running 64bit Vista? i use the computer for everything but mostly as a Media pc (encompassing all aspects including storage and conversion of personal media), I do have a 64bit Vista version i can use but have heard there are issues with .MKV playback.

What do you guys recommend?

i use vista 64bit and not had any trouble with mkv play back

and yes it's worth upgrading to 64bit so you can make full use of your 4gb ram

If the 64 bit version "you can use" is legit and not costing anything then go for it, otherwise I'd put up with 3GB and wait for Windows 7 x64.

I've had no issues using Matroska Splitter / CoreAVC / ac3filter for my HD movie playback on Vista 64. It works like a charm.
