Hi

I made my PC about 6 months ago and started off buying a Asus GTX 670 and then decided to go SLI, i only use one screen and honestly dont see a massive improvement. my hope is too sell them both and get about 550 for them, should i do this and get a 690 or even an AMD card?

No need for more than a 7950/70 for 1080p assuming thats your native res. sell em get an AMD and pocket the difference.

FYI I have had a 680 (thought this was the '1'), 7950 , 670, 660ti and now a 7970.

the 7970 is the best out of all the others I have owned, why because it's the best AMD have to offer at present and it didn't cost the earth the performance is better than all single cards apart from Titan which is a beautiful card but way over priced.

GTX 670 SLi or GTX 690 is the same thing !.

Keep the GTX 670's. If you play Crysis 3 you will see a good advantage running SLi over just one card.

A 690 is 2x680 cores I think. But id stick with you 670s as its not worth changing for a few extra FPS

Maybe I should clarify what I meant with 2x GTX 670 and GTX 690 is the same thing - In either case you're running SLi :)
