Upgrading to another monitor

Well, I'm really undecided about this one, but it has been playing on my mind since although I do like my monitor (HP w2207) the native resolution is pants for most games. Also, the viewing angles are quite annoying for watching movies since it is a TN+Film panel and I do a lot of movie watching at my computer. I've also have someone who has taken a particular interest to my monitor and is willing to buy it off me if I decide to get a new monitor, so it makes the choice of replacing it very tempting.

I know there are more suitable screens such as the PVA types and the S-IPS ones but they tend to be quite expensive (£300+), but I am adamant on not buying the same type of screen again. So obviously I need to find a cheap PVA or S-IPS screen or really a darn good TN+Film screen, which is where you guys come in.

  • Reasonably good viewing angles.
  • HDMI connection for connecting my PS3.
  • Good contrast ratio (but none of the dynamic junk).
  • Audio connection for plugging in headphones so I can listen to the audio from the HDMI connection.
  • Good blacks and no backlight bleeding.

Thanks
