Upgrading to C2D

Hi, I will be upgrading to a C2D mobo pretty soon and was wondering if i will need to upgrade my PSU too, probably a silly question but i have never used an intel CPU so have no idea what i will need,

I am currently using the hyper modular 580w psu, I also know about the explosive issues so i am not interested if this comes into the equation

i have that psu and has been running for 15 months or so and is now running a e6400 and all the normally gubbings gfxs, hdds, dvd drives etc etc etc....
