Hi guys,
Looking to upgrade to my first modular/semi-modular PSU after getting a smaller case, currently running:

i5 3500k
Antec High Current Gamer 620w
Asus P8P67-M
4GB Ram (Hopefully 8/16 soon)
AMD Radeon HD 6850
1x 1TB Samsung HD103SJ
1x DVD rewriter

No significant upgrades planned for this rig so looking for the most budget PSU, hopefully a max of about £60/70.

I'm quite tempted by the corsair modular series, if anybody could tell me what sort of wattage would be suitable for my build I'd hugely appreciate it!

Cheers!

Hi and welcome to the forums. :)

The Corsair would do the job but it's a budget unit with cheap internals and only 384w on the 12v rail. It's also a step down in quality from what you already have. When buying a psu ignore the stated total power and look up what the psu is actually capable of. Ideally you want all the power able to be delivered on the 12v rail where it counts.

Unfortunately OCUK is severely lacking in decent lower power modular psu's. An alternative to consider is:-

Enermax Triathlor 450w
