Upgrading to Win7 with other HD's

Just bit of a straight noob question.
Will be putting Win7 on my HTPC and have transferred everything off of my C: drive (where Win XP is installed). But I have 2 other HD's attached. Do I have to do anything with these before installing the new Win7 on the other Hard drive?
I just wanted to double check before upgrading and potentially losing 2TB's of data.

You shouldn't need to do anything at all.

Personally I like to unplug all other HDDs prior to installing Windows as there is no chance of accidently picking the wrong HDD to format or Windows putting boot files on the wrong HDD.

I thought about doing that but wasn't sure.
