Hey guys,
Ok here's the scenario, I have laptop coming in a few weeks so I plan to upgrade my home network. At the moment it's all running from a wired linksys BEFSR41 router.
I'm not sure which is the best wireless router, but I plan to replace my BEFSR41 with a Linksys WRT54GS-UK Wireless-G SpeedBooster Broadband Router/4-Port Switch .
This will allow me to continue running the house network and allow the laptop to connect to network wirelessly etc? Also want to check that the router is compatible with my cable modem?
Finally, I wanna also share a printer on the network. I'm thinking about getting a Linksys PSUS4 USB Print Server & 4-Port Switch , then connecting the switch to the new router. Wanted to check that everyone will still be able to see/use the printer (inc laptop)?
Regards,
King
P.S Improvements to plan / products welcome. (Printer = Canon ip4000)
