Current system in sig and i am going to upgrade the following.

Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV (CA-005-HP) £62.22

I just need to know, do i need some thermal paste for transfering my processor to the new board? AND is it easily done?

First: whats happened to quick reply...

Second: im using the same HSF and it does have a thermal pad on the bottom.. how do i get it off???

Third: i will try as hard as i can to come up with the extra for the X1800XT.. as this was my first choice but im reaching the limit of my funds..

would the geil value be as good though? i plan to get a 165 in the next 2 month or so and clock it to about 2.6. i suppose i could just use a divider?

Just got some more money so can afford the 4000 memory... will be ordering tomorrow

hopefully before 12 to get it on friday...
