Hi,

I have a HAF 922 case which came with usb 2.0. I wish to upgrade the USB board to a usb 3.0 if possible. I have looked online and cannot find anywhere the part i need to do this with, the newer cases like the HAF X come with usb 3.0 as standard so they do definetly manufacter the usb board I require.

Does anybody know where i can get the replacement board from? as it is frustrating having to keep plugging in my 3.0 USB drive to the motherboard directly.

Thanks

What do you mean the board? The USB ports set into the case?

I doubt you can replace them with USB 3.0. But you could get a USB 3.0 hub, which you can position somewhere more convenient. I think ocuk has one on sale atm.

Couldn't you just get a usb3 extension cable for something like this? Not ideal, but if its only for one device then its the cheapest option.

I know what this guy wants, and I have looked at the parts store and theres nothing for this case to replace the front board.

There are bay devices from coolermaster to go into 3.5" bays etc thats about it.

by the looks of things what your after is something that fits into one of the front bays that has several USB3 ports in it, which connect to the front USB3 headers of the motherboard.

sadly OcUK dont sell any, but i'd be very surprised if no one sold them anywhere

*edit*
this doesnt replace your standard front panel, but it would fit in the 3.5" bay.
i suspect its what stulid found: http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6704

the only option is asking coolermaster customer support if they would sell you a USB3 front panel for the case (i assume its detachable)
