Upgrading windows license...

Ive just bought a PC with Windows 7 Home on it, and I also purchased the Windows 7 Professional Upgrade license for it.

Now, Ive got the PC but not Windows 7 Pro upgrade – I phoned the supplier and they told me they are waiting for them, as the licences are due in later in the week??

Is this right, do you really have to “order” licenses, surely Microsoft distrubute them straight away?

Any one clear this up for me??

I expect its just the OEM upgrade which is a DVD and licence? So its just a stock item like anything else.

Well thats it I thought it was just a license key I had to enter...

As with Windows 7, you get Windows Anytime Upgrade which requires a license key to "unlock" other features... ?
