Upgrading with 500GB WD BLUE

Hi,

My current rig has 2 * 250GB 8Mb cache WD BLUE hard drives. These are currently being used as storage for music and videos.

My primary hard drive is an 80GB seagate which I am giving to my brother in law.

To replace the 80GB seagate I was going to upgrade with either a 160GB 8Mb cache WD BLUE or 500GB 16Mb cache WD BLUE.

If I was to insert the new HDD and zap it with my Win XP CD will it recognise the other two 250GB or will I have to reformat them again? Not sure if I explained this very well

Let me know if anything is unclear.

It should work fine as long as you set your install to go to the new drive...Then when you get into my computer your other hdds should be there...
