I've been tasked with upgrading the work's computers, just going to bash SSD's in them as it'll make them fly, and it's a fairly inexpensive upgrade.

The computers were store bought with Windows 7 license stickers on them.

Is it just a case of banging in the SSD's, installing Windows 7 and using the license sticker, will that allow me to activate Windows effort free?

You could ghost the existing hdds to the ssds, save you time and effort of having to format them all.

How many are you upgrading?
Install of win7 from usb to ssd doesn't take long , but applying the patches updates does depending upon your internet connection

Ghost / Acronis is the best way if you have a lot of pcs.

It's just 5 of them.
I'm leaving, I'm doing it voluntarily over afternoons, so I was just going to do one a day as to not interrupt everyone else.
