ok the sales are tempting me

basically spec atm is

Asus A8N SLi Deluxe

3200 A64 Winchester clocked at 2.6ghz
2 x 1gb Corsiar PC4400 DDR 500mhz Ram

6800GT that scores about 6k in 3dmark 05

now i was thinking about getting an ATI 1900XTX 512mb for £311 (Connect 3D)

is it really worth upgrading with my current spec, eg will it get seriously bottle necked by the cpu, would i really have to upgrade that to make the new graphics card worth while?

edit i run games at 1280 x 1024

Will be a bottleneck, but you will still get a huge increase in performance going to the x1900, ive got an x1800 XT 512mb on an A64 3500+, and it thorws everything around maxed out in 1280x1024.

yeh i ordered it in the end, i should be able to run stuff maxxed easy at 1280 x 1024

loads money, the 3500 is clocked at 2.2 so my cpu is faster and so will gpu so if u can do that then its excellent
