ok i recently upgraded my packard bell desktop with a 1GB of ram, hoping that it would make some affect on the speed of the computer, but to not much avail, seems more like it has slowed down. It has an AMD Athlon XP 2700+ 2.16GHz processor and hope that upgrading it to AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.20GHz, what i want to know is would this be a good move for speeding up my computer and would it be an easy move?
