Upgrading :)

My poor old +2500 barton @ 2hz is looking a bit old and tired now, i think he's dreaming about retiring, eating werthers originals,smoking pipes and wearing those tartan booties old people wear

It's time to upgrade, I've just been having a look through the processor section on ocuk, are the 64 x2 dual cores good for overclocking?

Any particular chip, board etc?

intel is expensive though, i'm looking to upgrade on a budget

Basically as little as possible, lol..

After looking before, i'm going to need:

Chip
Board
Ram
Sata Drive
Probably some sort of pci express graphics card

Thats why i'm looking down the amd route, my barton has been fine for me as i dont play pc games, it's just to keep up with technology, run boinc and use for the net, mp3's, videos etc etc
