This is my first post, and so I'd like to say Hello to all of you. I'm looking at upgrading my system as its slowly starting to struggle. I'm a novice at this kind of thing so i was wondering if any of you could give me any advice on the following setup. I wont be needing optical drives, HDD, or peripherals as this is taken care of.

I don't really want to spend much more than the current cost, although if any of you could save me any money that'll be fine :D

Thanks, Matt

What will be your main use for the pc? Gaming?
Looks ok, although I'd go for the Q6600 @ £150 inc vat
Can't fault the board or memory.
If you intend on gaming then maybe stretch your budget and get a 4870 or a nvidia 260.
I couldn't justify paying £150 for a 4850. Although it is a good card if it suits your needs.

I will be using it for design work, basic tasks, word processing, and gaming.

Thanks, Matt
