Next wad of funding should be arriving soonish, so I'd like to upgrade my system. I mostly play games on a 19" monitor but get some sluggish framerates in crysis and could do with it being a bit smoother.

Currently I've got an E6600 at stock, which I plan to overclock soon, a BGF 8800GTS 320mb OC2, 4gig OCZ platinum ram, all on a Asus P5k wifi/deluxe MoBo.

The Mobo supports crossfire, but the second slot is only 8x, so i don't think that is worthwhile.

Would my best option be to buy a new GPU to replace the one I have currently, or to replace the mobo with one that has SLi and dual 16x channels and get a second similar gpu?

overclock that cpu and put a 4850, 9800GTX+ or if you are planning to keep the card for a while, 4870, gtx260 or gtx 285 in there
