iv just bought a "Titan Nero" AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 250 3.00GHz DDR3 System
motherboard - Asus M4A78LT-M 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 & gfx card - Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 512MB GDDR3. Iv heared this card is ok but not great, is it capable of playing new releases for example, f1 2010 & cod black ops (when its out) id be looking to upgrade it (the gfx card) at around xmas but which one would be the best for me? looking to spend around £150 . Also im not sure whether this system has a wireless network card allready in it? if not how much are they typically?

In terms of gfx card, your best bet would be the gtx460, however around xmas prices will change a lot so no point on planning now :)

you have these left over on the motherboard,

1x PCIe x1 Slot & 2x PCI Slots

so find a card to suit

To be honest, I would suggest waiting until november when the new AMD HD 6000 series graphics cards are available. They are supposed to be a fair bit quicker than current generation AMD cards and will hopefully drive prices down. Perhaps even bringing the GTX 470 and HD 5850 (or 6000 series equivalent) into your price range.

As a stop-gap the GTS 250 should be OK, may I ask what resolution you will be playing at?

As for the card you mention in post #15 - what is the price and warranty length?

£160? and judging from the name its not a very well known brand unlike gigabyte, asus, and evga.
personally i would stick with the known brands
