Upgrading

I need to buy a new graphics card but i have a few questions before i do.

My current system is:

1680x1050
Q6600 @ 3.2
8800GTX
4GB RAM
OCZ GXS 1010W

I'm leaning towards the 560Ti but i was wondering would there be any issues upgrading with my current system as its getting a bit old now and i don't want any bottleneck problems or any other issues.

Also would the 560Ti be the best option, for less then £200, as i was considering some ATI cards but you hear some bad things about them when it comes to running certain games, so i'm not sure if i should stick with nvidia or change to ati.

Finally is the brand of the graphics card important or should i just go for the cheapest one?

Thanks everyone for the advice

If the 560 is a good pairing with my current CPU then i'll problay go with that then, especially if the ati are only marginly better. As i tend to prefer nvidia anyway.
