Uplay down?

Yesterday I bought a game on steam (Assassins Creed Origins) and went to launch it, it required me to log into Uplay and boom, their services are down. Great, locked out of a single player game.

This morning, still the same issue? Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yes I had this problem, some sort of internet access issue. My solution was to tether from my mobile internet, use that connection to log in, and then since then I can connect every time on my usual internet. Try that.
 
They've been having some issues with uplay recently - check the Twitter support for updates.

They've also rolled out an update which isn't supported on Windows 7 causing some issues :s
