Uplay downloads

Trying to download Splinter Cell Blacklist from Uplay and download gets to around 60-70% then speed cuts to about 500kB/s. Downloaded 65% in around 25 minutes then about another 4 hours for the rest What an absolute pile of ****. Anyone else experienced this?

It's a pain. I left it downloading when i went for dinner looking forward to having a game. Uplay knocked that idea on the head

Yes it's one of a number reasons I will never buy a ubisoft game again.

Very poor company.

I actually quite like it and find the interface really nice. I was just in gamer rage mode last night Had to settle for BF4 beta instead.

Uplay has a habit of doing that with SC, mine got to 99% then sat there for a hour util I paused it and it shot straight back up.

Maybe i should have tried pausing then restarting then. Will try it next time, cheers.

My copy came down fine. It was the updates after I had a struggle with. They kept trying to redownload and install themselves for some bizarre reason.

Just my opinion, but I find the game gets boring, quickly.

I got the SC game fast enough no real difference compared to a similar sized game from steam. The update however too ages the other day to the point where I didn't get to play the game at all that night.

Assassins Creed III for me downloaded nice and quick then like many others the update took flippin ages. Apart from that the game was dire anyway so was a complete waste of money
