upload errors

Well hit 100% but unable to auto upload.
Second thread still working, and first of farm machines has uploaded and on second fold but:

[17:11:34] Downloading core (/~pande/Win32/x86//Core_7a.fah from www.stanford.edu)
[17:16:34] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[17:16:34] Couldn't download www.stanford.edu
[17:16:34] + Error: Could not download core
[17:16:34] + Core download error (#10), waiting before retry...

and this is post restart (their were 7 core download errors befor this

Any advice?

Are you running any proxies or firewalls, especially Norton Internet Security?

simple answer is yes and yes - We've a proxy server here with a hardware and software firewall.
but pc oppersite autosent it's results about 4 hours ago without a hitch.

log files are not in time sink with pc's - very odd

Log files are in UTC (I believe), so one hour out.

And it's downloading that's causing you a problem, not uploading. Might be a problem contacting that one server to download a core. If you have FahCore_7a.exe somewhere else, you can just copy it over and all might be well again.

appoligies it's an error with uploading (shadowscotland has points on the board) Got the core off another machine so see what happens, its running through the process now - but looks like it's still trying to download.

deleated folder and removed service (googled core and many people having same problem)

new folder/thread auto downloaded same core no problems back on track

Had another problem with the _7a core last night, following the completion of a thread - lost 7 hours of duel crunching

Is anyone else having this problem?
