Upload Sync Rate Issue

Hey,

Was activated on ADSL2+ about 2 days ago.. For some reason I can't hit the 836kbps sync though, all I seem to get is 736kbps for some reason.. Any ideas?

Here are my line stats:

Upstream rate = 736 Kbps
Downstream rate = 5440 Kbps

Link Power State: L0

Mode: G.DMT
Channel: Fast
Trellis: ON
Line Status: No Defect
Training Status: Showtime

The 836 is with the SNR margin at 0, so you're unlikely ever to hit it. That's why it's the maximum.

If your modem reconnects at that 10dB upstream SNR margin there's probably something limiting it (or, more likely, that's been set as the target). You could look at that.

Hmm having seen this topic I checked my upstreams and weirdly they are both in the 700 range atm 768 and 732 - usually 864-896 and 928-1152 - wonder if theres some atmospheric conditions or something holding them down.
