uploading files

I tried to upload a 1.5 MB picture using image shack uploader but it would not accept any format.
The "Image" method used here asks for "URL", how do I get a URL on my picture?

DESREGARD I found free Image Hosting that may work.

could not make Imgur work but I am OK with post image .org

I was using "ImageShack Uploader" but now any format I try is not recognised.
