Hey guys,

Does anyone know how I can go aobut getting my 5.1 DVD's to upmix into 7.1? I have the Gigaworks S750 7.1's and X-FI fatality and I can't actualy see the upmix 5.1 content option anywhere like I had with my Audigy 2 ZS.

Cheers

I dont think its possible, the best way to listin to Movies is using DD5.1 or DTS, maybe one day they will be a DD7.1 though.

it is possible. With my Audigy Z ZS you could map the side speakers signal to the rear speakers as well. This is what Dolby Digital EX is. I just can't see the option for it anywhere

Ive done some research. Turns out the fatality prossional card does not do DTS-ES or Dolby Digtal EX decoding through drivers, this is why the option is not available in the audio console like it is with the standard Fatality FPS. This is why creative bundle PowerDVD software with the card. This really, sucks, I thought it would have it in drivers like my ZS did. Oh well, think I mgith sell this card and stump up the extra cash for the FPS version.

Does the FPS version do that? It's just same card with Xram and front panel. Former is a waste of time.

Trying to get hold of front panel only, no remote. :(

FPS version has a driver decoder the dolby digital and DTS and has the options for upmixing, I've seen the screenshots.
