Upping memory to 800mhz

I have an abit aw9d max board which has 4x 512 mb pc 5300 (667) sticks in it at the moment with an intel E6600 core 2 duo.
Would I notice much difference if I changed to 2 sticks of 2gb @ 800 pc 6400, any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
