Well my spark plugs need changing on my Xsara VTS and was looking at the Denso Iridium ones. Can pick up a set for under £40. I hear rave reviews about these and some performance gains too (whatever that can be) they seem to last longer too and increase fuel economy.

Now my question is, is it actually worth swapping them out for these or would i be better in getting some half decent cheapo ones and change them more often?

Cheers

Without any knowledge of the specific plugs and your car, I would just go with some decent quality boring "vanilla" spark plugs - I doubt you would see any noticeable increase in performance or fuel economy.

It won't make any difference at all except to your wallet. As a rule I tend to use NGK but only because I find it's a better quality plug over Bosch or Champion. Denso are good plugs but expensive even for standard ones. Mine is pretty tuned up but I can't justify the extra price of a Denso, it doesn't last any longer or make any power difference.
