I'll echo this, its a stunning looking film. Really enjoyed it when i caught it last week.
Yeah was just surprised how good it was. So many twists and turns. You won't be disappointed.

It was ok, good action but the characters were a bit crap. Sets and outfits were all great though.
I'm assuming almost none of it is based on history really (other than the invasion). It all felt a bit far-fetched and the main character being a slave who is somehow the best swordsman in the land was quite ridiculous. The Three-way duel at the end felt a bit over the top with the slow-mo too, like it was directed by Zack Snyder. In fact I can see a comparison to 300, very stylish but a little lightweight.

Enjoyed this mainly for the fight scenes than the story, they really nail the feel of the battles compared to most over recent films / shows that have sword battles.
