UPS Access Point - Click & Collect

This is a good service, but I have never received the order next day using this service. It's always arrived two days later at the collection point. Not a problem, but just saying they've never delivered on time for me.

Same here, I am in Glasgow. P.S. The delivery point is a fairly dodgy corner shop, the kit was in a small pile by the window...

This is broken on your site, I can select an access point, when I go to order, it either tells me I've not selected a delivery method or I've not selected an access point. I've tried IE and Chrome.

I get this quite a lot, which then makes me just rain forest some items, since I have to be able to collect packages instead of regular delivery as no one will be home. Would be great to find out why it keeps doing it!

How accurate is the status updates on the UPS site? I placed my order at just before 1 in the afternoon on Wednesday and when checking the UPS site just now it shows it just at the first green block stage,

"A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated."

What are peoples experiences? certainly not next day for me it seems. Was hoping to get this for the weekend.

Just a FYI to possibly help others, rang the newsagent it was meant to be delivered to and was told it was delivered this morning. No update on the ups website or email or text from them letting me know of this.

Only one newsagenty type shop in my town have this and they shut at 5.30pm! Not good for late night collections :(

On the other hand, nearly every corner shop seems to have Collect+ so wonder what is stopping all these shops from having UPS too.

When I arrived at the newsagent my delivery was out in the middle of the shop floor and after the door beeped to announce my arrival it took the staff a good 30 seconds to appear. The box had 'overclockers' tape all over it- a nice touch for aesthetics but a bit of a beacon for potential thieves.

The shopkeeper had no idea what she was supposed to do- I presented my ID but she seemed to think she had to scan something. She then let me take the package anyway.

Not the safest method of delivery- I'd advise people to miss their package if necessary then collect from depot.

Use this all the time. 'Just popping down the shops to get some milk love'. Come back with milk and a CPU in my pocket. :D

In my experience it takes 2 days to be delivered to store though. Collected from a few different shops never with an issue. Scan, sign, get emailed update immediately.
