UPS access point quickness?

Soon to pre-order a gpu but since its being released on Friday,

I'm looking to see if anyone has ordered for access point on a Friday and had the items arrive on the Saturday?
 
Do these kinds of things not work like (physical) games? Suppliers dispatch to account for transport time so you receive the product on release day.
 
Think OC has to have them in stock to do that :p When I asked about that, they ship only when they are back in stock as they don't build up stock for release day. (I could be wrong though)

Pre-order games are generally in the back ready to send a week before release.
