I've just experienced a couple of rare powercuts which normally I wouldn't worry about as I have a UPS connected to my system. However the power went off and so did my PC. Once the power returned I tested my UPS and found it wasn't supporting my system so believing it to be at the end of its life I replaced it with an APC BE700-UK. After allowing it to charge I turned off the power at the wall and again the PC went straight off. I only have the PC and 19" LCD monitor connected to the battery back-up sockets on the UPS. I'm worried now that even this is too much for the UPS. Please have a look at my spec which also has two SATA, a DVD and CD rewriter drives and see what you think.
Cheers.

Hi
The PC and monitor a definitely plugged in to the battery outlets but it still goes straight off. Is there anything in the bios I should be setting?
Cheers
