Having had my 5th power glitch in the last hour! 
I wonder whether anybody has tried extending the standby time of an off-the-shelf UPS by splicing in larger batteries (Say a pair of 100AH Leisure batteries)
Would this even be possible, or would the UPS operating software/charge controller get freaked out?
