UPS with long cord

Is there such a thing as a UPS with a long cord?

I could do with about 2.5 to 3 meters just for my pc, and monitor or can I get away with a good surge protector?

Most of mine IIRC just have C13/14 type sockets on them so you can use your own lead length - though its advisable to pay attention to length limits from the UPS to the wall socket itself as it can have spikes in current draw at times which need to be accommodated.

Do you need a UPS? If you only have occasional power outages and can't justify the cost, then just get a surge protector.

Regardless of which you get, you can just get C13/C14 extension leads e.g. :

thank both. Where my pc is at the moment in my bedroom it is right next to the wall socket but I have been thinking about moving things around to give me more space as my room is about the size of a jail cell so it is pretty cramped. Maybe I should just keep it as it is.
