Upscaling DVD's

What are people using to upscale DVD's? I've heard of ffdshow but can't remember the optimal settings for upscaling, something to do with blur and sharpening.

Anyone using anything else for upscaling/tweaking the image? DVD's look pretty crap on my 37".

make sure you've got the right resolution set on the screen too (in windows)

mine runs with best picture at 1366x768, at 720 it looks a bit blurry

ffdshow, raw set to enabled, 1920x1080. Nothing else, no blur/sharpening.

Yeah Bledd I had the resolution set and that just some DVD's look SO grainy it's terrible!
