Upstream and ISPs

Simple question,

Which ISP offers the highest upstream speed?

I'm with BE at the moment and I get a 1mbps upstream.

I know that Virgin 50mbps package offers up-to 1.5mbps upstream.

Any other ISP offering any packages with better upstreams??

Oh well, thereabouts..Eitherway its between 1-1.5mbps..still too low for my taste!

VM are currently trialling 10Mbps upstream, which going by previous trial rollouts will mean that it will hit the consumer in 6-12 months.

Nothing will touch this for a while.

This side of commercial lines? no.

You'd be paying through the nose for a synchronous DSL line or a leased fibre line.

@Virgin 10mbit, you can upload 5MB before it's throttled for 6 weeks down to 56kb. If you pay extra, you can upload 10MB then be throttled to 64kb!

Er, no. 1) the 10Mbps upstream trial is only on the uncapped 50Mbit service, and 2) you are being very melodramatic.

I have a nasty feeling that the 10mb upload stream for us 50mb customers will come wrapped in a new STM policy.
