ATX 12v Socket?

Hi there :)

I just purchased a new PSU, the Corsair TX750W. This PSU doesn't seem to have a 4-pin plug on it for the ATX 12v socket on my motherboard (P5N-E SLi).
Do I need to get a convertor for a molex connection or will I be ok without plugging anything into the ATX 12v socket?

Thanks

Edit: CPU is the C2D E6600 btw.

You need the +12v socket.

Have a god look though, on some PSU's there is a second cable with 4 pin, on others the 8 pin can be split to give the pin and a spare bit. think the TX is in the latter

The Corsair comes complete with all the connectors you require, just to confirm are you after the 12v for the cpu - which can be 8 or 4 pin or the extra 4 pins for the main ATX power to the board to make it 24 pin instead 20.

I have that PSU. You can split the 8 pin cables to 4 pin by simply holding one side and 'sliding' the other upwards.

Yeah, I'm a giant p3nis

The 8-pin connector I had set aside for the graphics card, which it seems I really should have split down to 4-pins for the ATX 12v socket.

The 6/8-pin PCI-E cables are for the graphics, doh :)

Thanks peeps. I appologise for being a tool :D

ATX 1.3 Standard:
1x +12v 4-pin connector block
1x +12v 20-pin connector block

ATX 2.0 Standard:
1x +12v 4-pin connector block
1x +12v 24-pin connector block

EPS12v Standard:
1x +12v 8-pin connector block
1x +12v 24-pin connector block

Graphics card 8-pin wouldn't fit in the 8-pin EPS12v hole (and if it did, it wouldn't work).

All the Corsair PSUs support ATX 1.3, ATX 2.x & EPS12v.
