Urgent BF2 help

Im trying to create a server for just me and a mate to play on..it starts fine but when i give him the IP address to join it says it cant connect.

Help please

Thanks for the replies...never did get it working though.

Not sure you can host a 'local' game over the internet. Must be for LANs only.

You can always use a problem such as Hamachi to create a virtual LAN...Its what I do with a couple of mates...
