Good morning,

Took delivery of my 2nd Titan Vulcan system from OcUK this morning. First one was sent back RMA as it would not post. No idea what was wrong with it, OcUK said it was due to the couriers damaging it.

My 2nd arrvied this morning and guess what....yep it won't work.

This will not post either, however this sounds like its in a very fast restart cycle (imagine pressing the restart switch every 1.5 seconds) thats what its doing.

I just rang them to be told the system support is closed until Monday.

So as a last call for help can someone recommend anything to try?

Thanks in advance

Hey dude,
First time around is slightly suspicious, but a second machine failing? There's something fishy here. Have you tried booting it with just the keyboard and monitor plugged in? Any external hard drives plugged in and turned on at boot up? If it doesn't work with just a keyboard and monitor, try it without a keyboard. When that fails, then send it back. Chris.

Hi guys, thank you both for the replies. I was debating on how far I should go myself to check the system or just send it back. I took the CPU cooler off to which I found the CPU was totally loose from the socket. Not even connected to the motherboard.

I set it properly and now it work, and I narrowly missed having a heart attack.

Cheers. Good luck with yours.

Sounds like another problem caused in transit. OcUK need to figure out something better to stop this happening with prebuilt systems. I think I saw in a thread they have gfx card attachements that hold them in, though CPU sounds a bit dodge, not sure how that can be remedied.
