URGENT HELP NEEDED. 1/2 LEFT! :O

Hello all. My friends HDD has crashed and him having an influential father I agreed to see what I could do.

His HDD is broken BSOD @ windows launch.

I used Getdataback for NTFS and created an image file.

Can I put that straight on another HDD? Is so how?

Time is of an extreme urgence. Cheers

p.s the data comes to 37.7gb

If it is the same type of drive etc i dont see why not...

Long as the image file has literally everything on it.

Are you literally copying the hdd and transfering it over to a new one? Cause the problem might just be software realted thats all...thus transferring the problem over =/

The image is seperated into loads of file each 600mb big.

What do I do with them :confused:

the files are called untitled.001 etc all the way up to 57

Sounds like it's a backup, whatever utility you used to create them could\should be used to restore them.
