Urgent help needed please

just finished building my new pc, put in the graphics card its a zotac 560ti 448 card, booted it up the fans spining but my pc wont recognize the card i go to install the drivers but it says its not there and i have tried both pci slots and no luck :S
do i have to put both 6 pin power cables in the card as iv only put 1?

You need both power cables yes! That'll be the problem
