urgent Help needed to find me a new car!!

Hiya, due to my 220 being broken down (we dont know whats wrong with it and I dont have the time or any more money to put into it) and insurance problems I need a car till september, basically I have VERY little money only around 100-200 pounds (can go up to around 300) to spend but I am not bothered what the car is what make it is as long as it lasts me the 2.5 months, my three requirements are;
1. It should be group 14 insurance bracket or under
2. If it can be helped I dont want too big a step down in performance (going from a 2 litre turbo and 2 litre non turbo)
3.I need a fairly large car plenty of boot space etc to move stuff around

(needs to be abundant if possible as I really need the car before this tuesday! :eek: )

What sort of thing shoudl I be looking for?, basically if I was to insure the car I want to know it would be 600 quid for the 2.5 months since I have to cancel and they have heavy cancellation fees, so really I could spend up to about 400 quid as long as it would sell on for not too much less

Best bet is going round dealers and asking if they have any old part x's they want to offload.

I was looking at volvos as well are there any models to steer clear of? are autos a bad idea (they just seem to be cheaper)
 
cheers lopez :) i prefer manuals too but since im only planning on having it for 2 and a half months it doesnt matter so much will have a look on autotrader where abouts were those three?

150 quid and you can have my S reg saxo 1.1 with 6 months mot and 6 months tax. Runs fine, bodywork is a bit battered. Not big and not powerful but hey what can you expect for that price :p
